I can't get enough of these pants lately. They are so versatile that you can dress them up with a pair of heels or down with your favorite pair of converse. If they were available in different colors, I would buy all of them. You just can't beat a pair of pants that are both comfortable and chic. And that's a fact.

Also, did you notice my new header? CJ, one of my co-workers, is an absolute graphic genius. He gave me some amazing options that were absolutely beautiful, but I made him change it to black, whites, and grays. Those who know me know I'm scared of color. That's something that I'm actively working on changing. But seriously, isn't he great?

I am all about some big comfy sweaters and this one is my favorite at the moment. I have literally lived in it the past couple of days and don't ever want to take it off. There's just something comforting about an oversized sweater that makes you a little more happy in this chilly winter weather.

Everyone who knows me knows my love affair with the color black. My boyfriend even jokes that it's the only color I have in my closet. I just like to think that black is always and will always be appropriate for any occasion. And I mean any. 

By the way, how cute is the black necklace my photographer, Liz Martin, created? I'm slightly obsessed and can't wait to borrow (or steal) a few more pieces.

It feels like a million years ago when I told myself "I'm going to start a blog". I never thought the day would come; but here it is - and right on time. I've been finding myself fascinated with the art of putting an outfit together and how different people can create completely different looks using the same article of clothing. One of my favorite quotes that truly inspires me every day is "Create what you wish existed" and I'm going to do just that.
